# BitsOnWalls (Brighton Art Collective & Online Gallery)

> BitsOnWalls is an independent art collective and online gallery based in Brighton, England. Inspired by the legendary Pictures on Walls (POW) collective—which helped launch Banksy and made art affordable for the many—BitsOnWalls was formed in the aftermath of the banking crisis to produce humorous, irreverent artwork that punches up and speaks truth to power.
